Hotel Description:
- From the jungle an estate has emerged as if it had evolved naturally, absorbing the landscape and Bali's rich culture. Begawan Giri spreads over 8 hectares of gardens with thousands of trees, shrubs, wild ferns, flowers and lush water gardens. Each residence comes with its own team of dedicated staff, offering complete privacy. The Source, Begawan's aptly named spa, pampers the sen and wraps. This jungle estate at the Ayung river, about 5 kilometers north of Ubud, frees its guests from the confines of resort routine. The emphasis is on personal fulfillment and choice. Choose from the elements of nature: Windsong, Clear Water, Sound of Fire, Forest in the Mist or House of the Earth Son. The concept is new territory: life style. It is a life style that gives guests the ultimate in luxury accommodations, the natural beauty that is exclusive to Bali and the privacy of living in their own personal, jungle estate. Guests can reserve either a single suite or an entire residence. The emphasis is on choice and the fulfillment of all of our guests wishes to allow them to share in the experience, magic and life style of the area.

| Umabona: |
The classical, rich, formal style of this residence owes its origin to the Majapahit palaces which existed in the 13th and 14th centuries. The terra cotta statues which line the entrance to the pool and the terra cotta candi (temple) located in the middle of the inner pool are reminiscent of this past era, as is the vast expanse of space in the Royal Suites. On the lower level, two spacious bathrooms, each with its own intricately carved stone frieze, depicting the sensual element of the residence, open to the Royal Suite's interior pool area. From this private, mysterious aquatic centerpiece, the water flows outdoors where it cascades down to another pool located 10m below. The bathrooms and outdoor jacuzzi are set in perfect location for the viewing of the valley and mountain. In addition to the spectacular Royal Suite, Umabona's dining pavilion is a venue itself with it's speldid ambience and open oven. Umabona also accommodates three Terrace Suites, each with spacious bedroom and richly furnished in keeping with the royal experience. |
